A highly experienced and internationally respected hydrogen systems designer and chemical engineer; over four decades of experience in UK, USA, Australia and across Asia-Pacific designing, delivering, commissioning industrial gas projects for the chemical industry and integration of hydrogen into the mobility and power sectors.
Mr. Peakman is the former South Pacific Head of Engineering for Alternative Energy, BOC; Liquid Natural Gas Program and Engineering Manager, Linde Group; Hydrogen Project Manager and Engineering Consultant, Johnson Matthey; Technical Hydrogen engineering and systems consultant on multiple hydrogen projects in Australia, UK and Asia Pacific including electrolysers, fuel cells and hydrogen storage.
Mr. Peakman is also a leading figure in development of standards, training and regulation of the hydrogen sector, including as a committee member of Standards Australia’s Hydrogen Technologies Committee. He is consulted widely in Australia and internationally for his knowledge and pragmatic application of standards and regulations to the emerging hydrogen sector. Mr. Peakman is a graduate of Imperial College London (UK).
